Gather In Omaha
gatherLocated in the downtown area of Omaha, serving modern american food. Keep in mind that Gather is more on the pricey side but absolutely worth it. They use fresh, amazing ingredients. 
As a foodie, when a new hot restaurant opens up, I obsess about trying their food until I finally make it there! Gather has an Urban Farm in their basement where they grow their greens like lettuce and basil. This factor alone was so intriguing but then after reading the menu and learning how intentional they are with their ingredients I knew I was going to love it.
They have a front room, a bar, back room and outdoor patio seating. I loved the patio in the summer - so peaceful/romantic. When you go, the pork buns are A MUST! I can't explain how incredible they are - I highly recommend ordering two plates of them since they only come with four and you will want more. We also enjoy their charcuterie board, although we could have used more bread. The last time I went, I ordered the PD&J drink (because I'm obsessed with PB and it was delicious. I have also tried their coffee-tini and watermelon margarita - both of which I would recommend!
For dinner, the pineapple fried rice was a delight - the pineapple added such a sweet and yummy touch! I would not recommend the bolognese however, it was pretty mild as far as taste profile goes and pretty pricey. They have much better options! Save your bolognese order for the Italian restaurants. Speaking of better options - their vegan noodles! We did not order them because we are vegan, but because they sounded delicious and they were one of our favorite dishes of the night! Don't skip on the broccolini either - it does not disappoint.
