Omaha Dining

It’s been a minute but we have officially moved back to Omaha!

Let’s start at the beginning though…

I was born + raised here in Omaha so I have had certain restaurants many times. However, the last time I lived here was in early 2015 before I moved to Lincoln, NE, and then to LA for two years. Now we’re back (my husband John + I) & Omaha has completely transformed since then!

John and I’s favorite pastime is eating/cooking and we love to go out to eat. We are constantly analyzing the food + dining experience + menu design + everything we experience when we are out. So when we lived in LA we decided to make a list of all the restaurants we wanted to try while living there (of course covid changed all of that - we only made it through two from our list before everything shut down!). We were able to experience so many restaurants in our first year in LA but now we’re back in Omaha and there are new spots to explore.

This is a personal journal (for anyone else interested in Omaha dining) of all our dining adventures as we begin our exploration.
